For sale at Retrospective Scooters in North London, this restored first series GS150. I didn't know this but apparently this VS1 is one of only twelve known in the world, which I guess may explain its price tag of £13,950 - see full details on Retrospective Scooters' website here
I shot this lovely Gran Sport 150 on 35mm film for my Retrospective Scooters book and is featured in both the first and recently published second edition - one of the shots shown below ..
Love this film by Motorland Aragón ...
Following on from the previous Project13 post Trevor Howe sent me these shots of his latest project that has just been finished.
I probably wouldn't have this myself being more into the classic aesthetic but I have a soft spot for the German style, trick engineered scoots that Trevor puts out and I really like the graphics he applies - this smallframe vespa definitely does it for me. You have to admire Trevor's single minded approach to what he does and the belief, commitment and attention to detail he puts in.
If you were to consider buying a scooter from Project13, prices start from £3-£4K and increase upwards to £10K depending on model, choice of specification and level of tuning etc. In any case, you would end up with a stunning one-off scooter.

Just received this very nice tool set this morning which I ordered from Dutch classic Vespa workshop, Maskes Vespa Klassiekers.
The tools are faithfully based on Piaggio's classic set that were available for your vespa back in the day...
The set is not the cheapest to buy at 54.82 Euros plus postage but the tools look and feel like they are of superior quality; much better than many shiny, poorly made imitation spark plug spanners that twist easily off the plug. I've yet to put these to the test but am confident they will do what's asked of them; nice touch also with the olive green fabric bag that houses the set and again faithful to Piaggio's original set. The tool set is available to order at Maskes webshop - here
Tool set Dutch description in English via Google Translate is: " Nice tool set in olive green cover. The set consists of a spark plug wrench, screwdriver and wrenches 7,8,10,11 and 14 ..."

Very nice 1962 Lancia Flaminia spotted in Knightsbridge, London this morning. I got chatting to the Italian owner who also owns a '73 Vespa Primavera and '67 Vespa SS180 back home in Italy - obviously a man of discerning taste!
