Too cool for skool ...

I used to love this image from S.I.P Scootershop back in the day when I used to see it in Scootering magazine

The orange Alfa Romeo Montreal with obligatory playboy, makes a great colour contrast against the subtle pale blue of the Vespa VBB150. Could never decide which one I'd have .. both probably !

I went over to Landsberg, Bavaria in April this year to take some 35mm film shots at the S.I.P Customshow (details - here) and funnily enough met the dude playing the 'playboy' in this shot. Turns out he was and years later, still is the owner of this beautiful Montreal, so called as it debuted at 1967's world exhibition in Montreal. Unfortunately I didn't get to see it as it was being cosseted in a friend's garage, being due for some serious engine attention; these eat money for fun which I can well imagine but what a car...!

One day I hope to get back out to Landsberg, I'll be taking my camera just in case ...

L - thanks for sending me this & letting me feature it on here ; )
