Paris - l'Alpe d'Huez

February 26, 1952, at midnight, Georges MONNERET & his passenger Jenny Miller get ready to leave Paris for Alpe d'Huez, riding at night.

The duo arrived at Alpe d'Huez at 12:03, having braved the fog, snow, frost and cold. Achieved at an average speed of 51 km 530 (supplies included) for a distance of 621 km on a Vespa 125 series.
