The scooter club I belong to, Veteran Vespa Club are hosting their Ashfields rally in Essex this coming weekend, 18th - 20th May, may go if weather is reasonable. VVC rallies are always good for seeing some great classic vespa eye candy, including un-restored & restored examples of older models not seen too often these days.
The above shot was taken (not by me) during VVC's Cheddar rally in May 2011; this is the rideout passing through Cheddar Gorge en route to the Kingswood museum; site of the Douglas works in Bristol where Piaggio licensed vespas were once assembled & manufactured.
