Jamie's Italian
I'm no expert chef or anything but I can cook a mean Spaghetti Bolognese & follow a recipe pretty well; my forte being Italian food. We have various Jamie Oliver cookbooks, Bill Granger's books are also a fave in our house & just recently I got 'Two Greedy Italians' by Gennaro Contaldo & Antonio Carluccio which is excellent, (I can highly recommend it & great photography too). I find it really annoying paying for average restaurant food & being 'fleeced' £60-£80 for my wife & I to eat a meal; eight times out of ten we say we could have done better than that at home!
However, 'Jamie's Italian' restaurants (a joint venture between Jamie Oliver & Gennaro Contaldo) are an exception to my unfortunate rule. I've only eaten in the Oxford restaurant (twice) but the food was lovely & reasonably priced, for once I left feeling content ; ) I passed the recently opened Jamie's Italian at Angel Islington & had to shoot this Ape 3-wheeler outside. I took this with my Olympus OM10 on 35mm film (800ASA) on a 5-second shutter speed to intentionally achieve this effect - quite like how this came out.
See the same shot with correct shutter speed here http://www.flickr.com/photos/gs3vespa/6188570625/in/photostream

Apeccino
One of my personal fave shots I've taken.
I took this in March 2009 outside Kentish Town tube station. I parked the Spanish Vespa Sprint 150 I owned at the time by the 'Bean About Town' Ape, which has a pitch here & serves coffee daily.
The shot was taken in bright sunlight on bulb setting (approx 5 second shutter speed) on 35mm film with my Olympus OM10 manual SLR camera. Like how this came out with the movement. See more of my best vespa shots here on main website http://www.vespamore.com/vespa

THE ROLLING STONES’ 1972 AMERICAN TOUR
Keith Richards & Mick Taylor of The Rolling Stones on stage, 1972 –Image by © Ethan Russell
I would have loved to have seen the Exile on Main Street tour in '72 but would've been difficult having being born this year! I got the Exile album recently which is excellent; I can see why many see it as one of their best. I did get to see the Stones years later at Wembley stadium in 1990 when they were touring the Steel Wheels album; still rates as one of the best gigs I've seen.
“Some of my most outrageous nights– I can only believe actually happened because of corroborating evidence. No wonder I’m famous for partying! The ultimate party– if it’s any good– you can’t remember it.”

–Keith Richards
