Italy's contribution to style is unquestioned; explore landmark moments from the last 150 years with the Guardian newspaper's timeline of Italian cultural history
Naturally, one of my fave moments would be in 1946 when Piaggio's Vespa designed by Corradino D'Ascanio debuted at the Milan Fair.
